Duties: Job Summary:The Environmental Services Technician II contributes to the effective operations of the Environmental Services department by daily cleaning and supplying of patient rooms, treatment rooms, restrooms, utility rooms, nurseries, nursing stations, lounges, offices, waiting areas, and other areas as assigned in accordance with standard policies and procedures. Uses applicable cleaning equipment, products, and supplies in performance of job responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:-Removes trash and linen from the facility.-Projects an image of professionalism in both verbal and non-verbal communication, appearance and conduct.-Maintains a working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures. This knowledge may include the use of specialized equipment, Quality Control requirements, and preventive maintenance.-Demonstrates outstanding customer service and “owns” successful patient/customer interactions while providing safe and high-quality cleaning standards including recognizing, comprehending, and following the meaning of designated signs, symbols, and written instructions as trained. -The EVS Tech II performs high level time sensitive disinfectant cleaning tasks to maintain critical patient areas, (i.e., discharges, isolation rooms, terminal cleaning of operative invasive areas, emergency department), and includes a variety of specialty floor care, carpet care tasks and special projects, (i.e., stripping/refinishing floors, extracting/terminal disinfecting carpet and upholstery, special projects).-High level time sensitive tasks assigned over Seventy-Five (75) percent of daily shift time.-Performs daily cleaning and stocking of assigned patient and non-patient areas following standard policies and procedures.-Uses appropriate cleaning chemicals, tools, and supplies to complete assigned duties safely and effectively.-Removes trash and linen from assigned areas and transports to designated disposal points.-Maintains professional communication, appearance, and behavior at all times.-Maintains knowledge of department policies, procedures, quality control standards, and preventive maintenance practices.-Interprets and follows designated signs, symbols, and written instructions as trained.-Performs specialized disinfectant cleaning in high-risk patient areas including discharges, isolation rooms, operative areas, and emergency department spaces.-Executes specialty floor and carpet care tasks including stripping, refinishing, extraction, and terminal disinfecting.-Completes special housekeeping projects as assigned.-Provides high-quality cleaning standards while demonstrating ownership of patient and customer interactions.-Recognizes urgent situations and responds appropriately to ensure safety and infection prevention.-Performs other duties as assigned. 
-This is the #### range that RightSourcing (a part of Magnit) reasonably expects to #### someone for this position, however, as a supplier your expected #### range may vary and/or include certain benefits like: stipends (for clinical traveler roles only), medical, dental, vision, 401K, commissions, incentive bonuses or other compulsory benefits as applicable. #### range Twenty-One Dollars ((USD)21.00) to Thirty-One Dollars ((USD)31.00) hourly.

Preferred Skills & Experience:-Previous hospital and/or hospitality housekeeping experience.-Experience operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, extractors, bovac, and roto machines.-Basic computer skills including email usage and completion of computer-based training with minimal assistance.
Physical Requirements:-Standing for Three (3) to Six (6) hours.-Walking for Six (6) to Eight (8) hours.-Sitting for Up to Three (3) hours.-Lifting or shifting Zero (0) to Ten (10) pounds for Six (6) to Eight (8) hours.-Lifting or shifting Eleven (11) to Twenty-Five (25) pounds for Three (3) to Six (6) hours.-Lifting or shifting Twenty-Six (26) to Fifty (50) pounds for Up to Three (3) hours.-Lifting or shifting Fifty-One (51) to Seventy-Five (75) pounds is never required.-Carrying Zero (0) to Ten (10) pounds for Six (6) to Eight (8) hours.-Carrying Eleven (11) to Twenty-Five (25) pounds for Three (3) to Six (6) hours.-Carrying Twenty-Six (26) to Fifty (50) pounds is never required.-Carrying Fifty-One (51) to Seventy-Five (75) pounds is never required.-Pushing or pulling Zero (0) to Ten (10) pounds for Six (6) to Eight (8) hours.-Pushing or pulling Eleven (11) to Twenty-Five (25) pounds for Three (3) to Six (6) hours.-Pushing or pulling Twenty-Six (26) to Fifty (50) pounds for Up to Three (3) hours.-Pushing or pulling Fifty-One (51) to Seventy-Five (75) pounds is never required.-Climbing for Up to Three (3) hours.-Bending or stooping for Three (3) to Six (6) hours.-Twisting for Three (3) to Six (6) hours.-Reaching for Three (3) to Six (6) hours.-Squatting or kneeling for Up to Three (3) hours.-Visual acuity is required.-Hearing acuity is required.-Repetitive use of hands is required.
