Job Titile: Solution Architect – Cloud and Hosting

What you will do:

As the Solution Architect, you will…

• Develop and execute strategic plans and roadmaps to advance client IT infrastructure, supporting current and future business needs.
• Establish and govern enterprise-level standards, best practices, and processes for network architecture, engineering, and deployment.
• Champion modernization initiatives including cloud networking, infrastructure automation, and AI, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
• Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of infrastructure technologies, tools, and vendors, ensuring alignment with architectural principles and business objectives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Analyze technology trends and assess emerging solutions to recommend and drive adoption of new capabilities where appropriate.
• Ensure adherence to security standards and compliance requirements throughout all aspects of network architecture and operations.

Who you are:

• Extensive experience in reviewing, designing, and implementing large and complex enterprise IT infrastructure—including cloud, server, compute, storage.
• Exposure to other infrastructure, including: network, database, and backup.
• Proven ability to define and implement hosting and cloud strategies and architectural standards at scale, including documenting those environments and standards.
• Demonstrated success leading large, cross-functional architecture and engineering teams and working with diverse stakeholders, including external partners and vendors.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for a variety of audiences and drive consensus.
• Capability to analyze and translate business requirements into scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
• Passion for mentoring, developing talent, and building high-performing teams.
• Strong capabilities for leading architecture conversations, working closely with stakeholders and leadership to understand the environment, gather requirements, and creation solutions that meet business needs.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure architecture and engineering
• Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and operating IT infrastructure, including: cloud architecture, server and compute, database, storage, backup, infrastructure automation, and networking
• Experience in managing teams working across multiple, diverse technologies and operational environments.
